Pattern Instructions

Step 1: Starting with Chains

Step 2: First Row (Foundation Row)

1. Brim Section: Begin in the second chain from the hook:

2. Body Section: Work herringbone single crochet (Hbsc) stitches across the next section of the chain:

3. Remaining Chains: Create 3 slip stitches (sl st) loosely into the next three chains, leaving the last three chains unworked.

Step 3: Second Row

2. Begin the reverse herringbone single crochet (Rev Hbsc):
